Day 1
AIRPORT / NEGOMBO - SIGIRIYA
Early Morning Departure to Sigiriya: Begin your day with a visit to a traditional roof tile factory and a lush pineapple plantation. Continue to the renowned Pinawella Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary where visitors can watch and even help feed the baby elephants with giant feeding bottles.
In the afternoon, explore the majestic Sigiriya Fortress, the ancient royal palace of King Kasyapa (477–495 A.D). Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya.
Day 2
SIGIRIYA - KANDY
Morning Jungle Elephant Ride and Journey to Kandy: Start your day with an exhilarating elephant ride through the jungle. Continue your journey to Kandy, stopping en route to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a batik factory, and a spice garden in Matale.
Upon arrival in Kandy, explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth, followed by a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening. End the day with dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.
Day 3
KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Morning in Peradeniya and Journey to Nuwara Eliya: After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, renowned for its vast collection of tropical plants and flowers. Then depart for Nuwara Eliya, a charming hill country town known for its cooler climate and British colonial-style cottages.
En route, stop at the Ramboda Falls, explore a Sri Lankan tea plantation and a working tea factory, and enjoy a hands-on tea plucking experience. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 4
NUWARA ELIA – ELLA
Scenic Train Journey to Ella: After breakfast, enjoy the option of traveling to Ella by train, a picturesque journey through lush tea plantations offering some of the best views of the Sri Lankan countryside. Our driver will drop you at Nuwara Eliya train station and pick you up at Ella station.
After checking in to your hotel in Ella, you can climb Little Adam’s Peak, explore Ravana’s Cave, or simply relax by one of Ella’s beautiful waterfalls. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Ella.
Day 5
ELLA - TISSAMAHARAMA
Final Day Excursions: On your last day, visit a wood carving factory, explore the gem museum, and stroll through the Peradeniya Botanical Garden before returning to your hotel in Yala.
Day 6
YALA - NEGOMBO
Yala Safari and Return to Negombo: Start your day with an early morning safari in Yala National Park, home to leopards, elephants, and a variety of wildlife. Afterwards, journey back to Negombo via the scenic southern coastal road, stopping at the Dondra Lighthouse, blow hole in Dickwella, Weligama fishing village, and the turtle hatchery in Unawatuna.
End of tour.
