Day 1

AIRPORT / NEGOMBO - SIGIRIYA

Early in the morning, depart for Sigiriya, with stops at a roof tile factory and a pineapple plantation along the way. Continue to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where visitors can observe and even assist the baby elephants in their daily activities.

In the afternoon, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the royal palace of King Kassyapa (477–495 A.D.), and explore its remarkable gardens, frescoes, and ancient architecture. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 2

SIGIRIYA – ANURADHAPURA

After breakfast, depart for Anuradhapura to explore this ancient city, one of Sri Lanka’s most significant historical sites. Highlights of your visit include the Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest historically documented tree in the world, grown from a sapling of the original tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment; the Brazen Palace; the Ruwanveli Seya Dagoba, the largest stupa in Sri Lanka; the Thuparama Dagoba, the oldest stupa; the Lankarama Dagoba; the Elephant Pond; the Abhayagiriya Monastery Complex; the world-famous Samadhi Buddha Statue; and the Isurumuniya Temple.

In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Sigiriya for a relaxing evening.

Day 3

SIGIRIYA – POLONARUWA - SIGIRIYA

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (10th–12th century A.D.), exploring its remarkable historical and cultural landmarks. On the return journey, stop at Minneriya National Park for an exciting afternoon jeep safari, where you can spot elephants and other wildlife in their natural habitat. After the safari, proceed back to your hotel in Sigiriya for an evening of relaxation.

Day 4

SIGIRIYA - KANDY

After a morning elephant ride through the jungle, depart for Kandy, with stops along the way to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a batik factory, and a spice garden in Matale. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered religious sites, and enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.

Day 5

KANDY – NEGOMBO

On your final day, visit a wood carving factory, explore the gem museum, and stroll through the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, famous for its lush landscapes and diverse plant collections. After these visits, proceed back to your hotel in Negombo, marking the end of your tour.
