Day 1
AIRPORT / NEGOMBO – BENTOTA
Begin your journey from the airport or your hotel in Negombo and travel along Sri Lanka’s stunning west coast to the beautiful Bentota Beach. Enjoy an exciting day filled with thrilling water sports such as water skiing, banana rides, jet skiing, wave surfing, tube rides, and speed boat trips. In the afternoon, unwind and relax at your hotel in Bentota, soaking in the serene coastal atmosphere.
Day 2
BENTOTA – KOSGODA – UNAWATUNA
After breakfast, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where you can observe five different species of sea turtles and learn about their conservation. Then, continue your journey to Unawatuna, a charming fishing village on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on one of the island’s most beautiful and tranquil beaches.
Day 3
UNAWATUNA – GALLE – NEGOMBO
After breakfast, visit the historic Galle Fort, located in the Bay of Galle on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. Originally built by the Portuguese in 1588 and later extensively fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onwards, Galle Fort stands as a remarkable historical, archaeological, and architectural monument. Even after more than 423 years, it retains its timeless charm thanks to the dedicated restoration efforts of Sri Lanka’s Department of Archaeology.
Next, visit the Mask Factory in Ambalangoda, a village renowned for its traditional mask-making industry. These beautifully handcrafted masks play an important role in Sri Lanka’s traditional dances, such as Kolam and Yaga. Continue your journey to the Moonstone Mine in Meetiyagoda, one of the few places in the world where moonstones are found in such high concentration, showcasing Sri Lanka’s rich gemstone heritage.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive along the coastal road back to Negombo, concluding your memorable journey.
