In the afternoon, explore the majestic Sigiriya Fortress, the ancient royal palace of King Kasyapa (477–495 A.D.). Experience rural life in Sigiriya with a bullock cart ride, and visit the Pidurangala Temple and Pahalagama Lake. Later, head to Minneriya National Park for an exciting jeep safari.

The town reflects strong British colonial influence, with charming country cottages and Queen Anne-style mansions.

En route, stop at the famous Ramboda Falls, visit a Sri Lankan tea plantation and working tea factory, and enjoy a hands-on tea plucking experience. Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
